The first image is an MRI taken on November 1st, the day that Thad went into surgery. The thin cycle like bright spot at the lowest spot on the image is actually Thad's spinal cord pressed against the wall of his spinal column. Already by December (the rollover image) Thad's spinal cord had returned to its normal position.

Unfortunately, I couldn't get any axial images from Thad's February MRI. In these images, the radiologists have told us, any evidence of the tumor had completely disappeared.
